Shree Krishna Shrestha was born on April 19, 1967. He started his acting career 25 years ago with the movie Bhumari.

He was featured in over hundred Nepali movies like Afanta, Afno Manchhe, Eh Mero Hajur, Hami Tin Bhai, etc. He was famously known for his dancing skill.

He had married actress Sweta Khadka on July 7.

He has his own home production and the film Kaha Bhetiyala was released in 2009 as his first home production movie. In the movie his wife Sweta Khadka was seen in the lead role.

A scene from the movie Kohinoor, which was his last home production film.

Shrestha, who had been diagnosed with ulser in the past, and with pneumonia and bone cancer when he was ill during his honeymoon, died at the age of 47 in Apollo Hospital, New Delhi on 10 August 2014 at 5AM local time.
