Nepal is attending the International Carpet Fair to be held in Hannover, Germany from coming January 11 to 14.

Likewise, a Nepal evening is also scheduled to be held during the fair at the joint initiative of the Association and Trade and Export Promotion Centre of Nepal.

The fair is believed to be an important opportunity for Nepal to promote its handmade carpet in Europe, boosted by the recent 46 per cent increment in carpet export.

Secretary at the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies Madhav Prasad Regmi is also scheduled to attend and address an event at the fair.
