Dhoom 3, the latest installment of Bollywood’s successful action adventure franchise, has grossed INRs 501.35 crore ($83.56 million) worldwide since its release on December 20, 2013.

On January 6, its production banner, Yash Raj Films (YRF), issued a statement confirming the news. “Dhoom:3 continues to create history at both the Indian and overseas box office. It is now officially the first Indian film to cross INRs 500 crore worldwide.”
