Gorkha United Public Higher Secondary School

Gorkha United Public Higher Secondary School was established in 2057 BS by joint effort of a team of the retired and currently serving British Gurkhas and Singapore Police. With now over 1365 students, the school has a good recognition in the Mid-Western Region as one of the renowned school due to its scholastic achievements.

In the second year of its establishment it operated the classes up to Lower Secondary Level, in the third year up to Secondary Level and since the year 2065 B.S. it has operated the classes in +2 Levels in Science & Management stream. Not only this with the aim of providing Technical Education to the students of Science background from Mid-West and Far-West Region, from the coming Academic Session 2072, the School Management team has planned to operate B.Sc. in Agriculture affiliated to T.U. under the project ‘Gorkha Polytechnic College and Research Centre’.

Indeed this institution has become the first choice of the students and an inspiration for the parents to get admission for their children. This all has been possible because of the strong commitment, sacrifice and selfless service of the School Management Committee which is really appreciable.
